WALTER LISTER was born in WORKINGTON on March 06, 1946,son to MARY and TOM LISTER. The best dad Shaun,stephen and emma could have wished for,much loved grandad of jack and josh and the grandchildren he didnt get to meet,Theo,Billy and Caleb. A true family man who loved his family more than life itself. Gone from sight but never mind or heart,what ever time we had would never have been long enough but you were worth every second to all of us,good times and bad,we'd have you back for even a second and go through it all again,just to be in your arms one last time and have that goodbye we never got the chance to have. You are missed by us all and live on through us all and the memories that we shared....LOVE YOU ALWAYS XXXX

I wish I could turn back the clock and take away all your hurt and pain. The years pass but I will never forget you. Even tho we were not together I miss you, You would be proud of your kids and Grandkids but Im sure you know that, Hope you are in a better place. Love always, Anne xx

I wish that we had that chance,
to say a last goodbye,
i think of things id say and begin to cry.
How could i put into words all the things you mean,
knowing it was the last time,
it all seems like a dream.
I shut my eyes and think of you,
my heart begins to ache,
i wish that you could take it back knowing it was a mistake.
My dad he is my hero,
taken over by such pain,
a shadow in himself,
his heart filled up with rain.
I hope that if your looking down u know how much we cared,
your love your smile ur being,
everything we shared.
Now these are only memories,
though ones that never fade,
because the love we had for you will never pass with days xxx
